CSE 365: Introduction to Information Assurance

Hey folks! Welcome to CSE 365 Spring 2021. In this course, you will learn the 101 of computer security. The course will offer a basic and comprehensive understanding of the problems of information assurance (IA) and the solutions to these problems, especially the security of information on computers and networks. It will focus on the IA technology as well as IA policy, management, legal, and ethical aspects.

Classes

This course is online. There are two sessions, and students can choose to attend either session. The content of the two sessions is the same.

For the class content, we will teach live in one session and replay the teaching video in the other session. The professor who taught the content will be available during the replay session to answer questions and run class discussions. Feel free to attend their or both sesisons.

We will rotate the session of live teaching, so that both sessions will have an equal balance between live teaching and recorded teaching.
